Committed to Nature

Positive Impactful Moments

We recognise the planet’s resources are limited and the essential role of the ocean and land in our survival. To maintain and improve our products, we focus on four key areas: reducing greenhouse gas emissions and protecting ecosystems; using a circular economy to maximise resource use; ensuring sustainable fishing practices and marine health; and responsibly managing and conserving water resources.

Playing a Positive Role in the Climate Transition

At COP 28 in Dubai in late 2023, countries recognised the urgent need to tackle climate change. They agreed to accelerate global efforts by 2030, focusing on reducing emissions and supporting vulnerable countries. Bolton acknowledges the importance of accurately measuring greenhouse gas emissions and driving decarbonisation efforts along our value chains.

Paving Our Way Towards Water Stewardship

Water is critical throughout our value chains, from R&D formulation to production and consumer use. With climate change and population growth increasing the risk of water scarcity, access to clean water is essential. While ocean stewardship remains central, we've broadened our focus to include freshwater stewardship, with particular emphasis on assessing water impacts, integrating water management into strategy, setting a freshwater ambition and improving operational efficiency.
