In recent years, Collistar, a brand that has always been dedicated to women, has grown even closer to the female world by choosing to engage with an effective awareness-raising activity about a phenomenon that has dangerously escalated in our country: violence against women. In this spirit, Collistar has chosen to support the activities of WeWorld, the NGO whose mission is the protection of women.
Thanks to Collistar’s financial support, a “Spazio Donna” (a space for women) was created in Milan in 2018, where psychologists and social workers operate every day to detect and support women in situations of violence and particular discomfort. The objective of “Spazio Donna” centers is to detect and provide concrete responses for the most critical cases, as well as promote female emancipation by giving women better and greater knowledge of themselves and their abilities.
In the past few months, Collistar has also been able to express its commitment to women by supporting another WeWorld project in favor of women who live in complex family situations. At a time when many women were forced to stay home in conditions of objective difficulty, Collistar contributed to the creation of a helpline service organized by WeWorld to offer psychological support and help in managing critical events.
