Pragmatism is in our DNA. That’s why our Home & Personal Care Business Unit recently voluntarily joined the International Association of Soaps, Detergents and Cleaning Products (A.I.S.E.) initiative to promote the use of recycled plastic in packaging. This initiative includes ambitious targets to be reached by 2025 and requires robust commitment to ensure that our plastic packaging is designed and manufactured using more sustainable materials.
The infographic below sets out the commitments companies are required to adopt in order to join the initiative, all of which are perfectly aligned with the direction we are following at both Group and Business Unit levels.

What does it mean?

A.I.S.E. will monitor the progress of the initiative over the years while encouraging the exchange of best practices and collaboration throughout the value chain, as well as providing guidance to the industry as a whole.
Our participation in the programme is yet further evidence of our commitment to developing more sustainable products.
